There is a great article in the September issue of Porta Grande, all about the setting up of free WiFi for all. It is intended that every public piazza, bar and restaurant will be able to offer this facility. All very commendable.
It is a shame then that all of the publicity, including posters to be displayed in these public places, bears the bold statement:
In other words, if it’s peace and quiet you want, away from the wired up hordes who must remain at the constant beck and call of imaginary friends, then this is the place for you. You would be sadly mistaken however, as what they really mean is:
Oh no ! If I ever go to China I shall have to have all of my trousers especially adapted. Which reminds me: which two French cities are like a badly made pair of trousers ?
